Stabbing Investigation – 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge VA

On June 14 at 3:50 AM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a stabbing. Upon arriving in the area, officers located bystanders providing first aid to a 25-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Officers continued first aid until rescue personnel arrived at the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where his injuries were determined to be nonlife-threatening. The investigation revealed that the victim and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused stabbed the victim before fleeing on foot. While investigating the incident, officers located the accused at a nearby business where he was detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jhonny Bladimir MARTINEZ VALDEN, was arrested.
