On April 25 at 10:27 PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16000 block of Point Pleasant Lane in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 37-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the altercation, the accused grabbed the victim’s throat. When a 15-year-old female family member attempted to intervene, the accused assaulted her as well. A short time later, the accused brandished a firearm before fleeing the residence. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused. On April 26, the accused, identified as Dale JOHNSON, was located and taken into custody by members of the George Mason University Police Department.
