On April 5, officers concluded an investigation into a domestic that was reported to have occurred at the Regency Apartments located in the 9800 block of Shallow Creek Lp. in Manassas (20109) on February 10. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 40-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim before grabbing her which caused both parties to fall to the ground. While on the ground, a brief struggle between the parties ensued before the accused wrapped his arm around the victim’s neck. The parties eventually separated, and the police were contacted the following day. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Antoine TIMMONS. Initial attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful. On April 5, the accused turned himself in to police without incident.
