On October 15 at 1:53 AM, officers responded to the Windsor Park Apartments located in the 3900 block of Penshurst Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 22-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused got on top of the victim and grabbed her throat. The parties eventually separated, and the accused fled prior to police arriving at the apartment. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Hunter Stephen VERUCCHI. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
