On June 19 at 10:24 AM, officers responded to The Lofts at Little Creek located in the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr. in Triangle (22172) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, identified as a 27-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, was involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused slapped the victim multiple times before grabbing her neck. At one point, the parties separated before the verbal altercation continued a short time later. The victim was on the phone with the police when the accused grabbed the phone away from the victim. The accused fled the area prior to police arriving on the scene. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Donte Jujuan CAMPBELL. Initial attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful. On July 9, the accused turned himself into police without incident.
