On April 19 at 3:46PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 15200 block of Neabsco Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that day. The investigation revealed at approximately 11:00AM the victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, was walking to school when he encountered a group of male juveniles. One of the individuals in the group engaged the victim in a conversation before trying to strike him. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s phone before he and the group fled the area. The victim eventually reported the incident to a family member who contacted the police. No injuries were reported. There is no suspect description at this time.
