On June 11 at 6:02 AM, officers responded to Wawa located at 2051 Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that a man and a woman entered the store and after selecting items, the woman brought the items to the counter. During the transaction, the man attempted to walk behind the counter where a verbal altercation ensued before the woman took the unpaid items and left with the man. An employee followed the suspects out of the store attempting to contact the police. While outside the business, the suspects struck the employee multiple times. The woman, later identified as the accused, took the victim’s phone before she and the male suspect fled in a grey Mercury with Virginia license plates: TXL-6922. The employee reported minor injuries. The cell phone was later recovered by officers in the area of Winslow Ct. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the accused, identified as Khadijah CAMPBELL. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues as officers attempt to identify the male suspect.
