On August 26 at 8:00 PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred in the 8000 block of Centreville Rd. in Manassas (20111) earlier that day. Prior to the officers arriving at the location, rescue personnel transported a 33-year-old man, to an area hospital where they determined his injuries were non-life threatening. The investigation revealed the victim and two acquaintances, including the suspect, were sitting inside a vehicle while parked in the above area. At some point while inside the vehicle, the suspect struck the victim with a glass bottle and attempted to grab the victim’s property. During the struggle over the property, the accused struck the victim in the head a second time with a plastic object before taking the victim’s property and leaving the vehicle. The only suspect description available at this time is a 25-30-year-old Hispanic male with long hair
