On July 25 at 10:15 PM, officers responded to the area of Coverstone Dr and Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed a 17-year-old male juvenile, and his 15-year-old brother, left a residence on Camfield Ct and separated before the older juvenile was confronted by two male suspects. During the encounter, the suspects grabbed the juvenile’s backpack containing miscellaneous items before forcing him to the ground where he was then assaulted. After the altercation, the suspects fled on foot with the juvenile’s property. The juvenile was eventually located by police at a nearby business where he was found to have sustained a minor injury to his leg. The younger brother also approached officers during their investigation. Neither juvenile was forthcoming to officers about what occurred leading up to the altercation and did not provide police with information on the suspects.
