On June 19 at 10:54 AM, officers responded to the Exxon located at 7113 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. An employee of the store reported to police that an unknown man, later identified as the accused, entered the store, and went behind the service counter where he began taking tobacco products. When the employee attempted to stop the accused, he pushed the employee before fleeing the store. While checking the area, officers located a man walking nearby who matched the description provided to police and detained him. During the investigation, the man was found in possession of the tobacco products that were reported missing. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Adam Samih HELMY, was arrested.
