On July 12 at 11:02 PM, officers responded to the Quality Inn located at 1109 Horner Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 32-year-old man, and an acquaintance were inside a room with two women they met earlier that evening. During the encounter, a verbal altercation ensued between the victim and the two women before one of them, identified as Tamia Monique MAXWELL, struck the victim and took his property. After the assault, an unidentified black male who was known to the women entered the room where more money was demanded from the victim and his acquaintance. The suspects left the room with an undisclosed amount of money and the victim’s cell phones. While investigating the incident, officers located both women nearby and detained them without incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, Tamia Monique MAXWELL, and the second woman, identified as and Danielle Letitia GRANT, were arrested. The investigation continues as officers attempt to identify and locate the male suspect.
